The Iraqi Prime Minister's Office announced on Friday the 10th of March that Iranian airlines, with the exception of Mahanair, are allowed to make 40 daily flights to and from Najaf International Airport.
The flights of Iranian airlines to Iraq have been suspended since the third day of October following the application of secondary sanctions by the United States in the form of "Operation Economic Exclusion".
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced on Tuesday the 7th that the country's airlines are "preparing" to resume flights to Iran starting in October. However, the United States has set strict conditions for the resumption of these flights.
