🔸 The US Treasury Secretary says Iran did not ship a single cargo of crude oil in September. Tanker tracking data also shows that no crude oil was loaded from Iranian ports this month.
🔸 Scott Bessent wrote on the social network X on Thursday evening, the 9th of Mehr: "Iran loaded zero barrels of crude oil onto tankers in September," adding that Donald Trump's administration is cutting off the Islamic Republic's "most vital source of revenue."
🔸 Preliminary tanker tracking data published by Bloomberg, as well as information from Kpler and Vertexa, show that no crude oil was loaded from Iranian ports during September.
Meanwhile, Kpler and Vertexa estimated Iran's crude oil and condensate loading in August at around 220,000 to 255,000 barrels per day.
🔸 Iran continues to supply small amounts of previously loaded and stored oil in Asian waters to Chinese buyers, but these reserves are shrinking with no new shipments leaving Iran.
