Tsukada Tamaki, Japan's ambassador to Iran, performed the music from Miyazaki's films in his farewell post to the Iranian people on Thursday evening, the 9th of Mehr.
Hayao Miyazaki is a well-known Japanese filmmaker. Among his prominent animated works are "Princess Mononoke", "Spirited Away", "Howl's Moving Castle" and "The Boy and the Heron".
Previously, Tsukada Tamaki performed parts of the memorable Japanese collections "Years Away From Home", "Life Story" and "Northern Land" on the flute during his stay in Iran.
He performed these pieces in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Tehran and the international collection "Station".
