Alongside continuing negotiations, Donald Trump re-issued a warning regarding the state of Iran's economy

🔸 Donald Trump, while continuing diplomatic efforts to end the war with Iran, on Thursday morning, October 9, Iranian time, re-posted the New York Post report on the US Treasury Secretary's statements on the social network Truth Social.

This report, published in the New York Post on September 27, cited Scott Bessent as saying in its headline that "there will be nothing left of Iran's economy in two weeks."

The main statement of the US Treasury Secretary is related to Iran's oil exports.

Mr. Bessent also emphasized that US economic pressure is one of the reasons why Iran has again expressed its desire to reach an agreement.

He said: "I think they are feeling the pressure and that's why they want an agreement." The US Treasury Secretary presented the "economic exclusion operation" as part of the Trump administration's policy to restrict Iran's foreign trade, especially oil exports, and said that the purpose of this policy is also to ensure that Iran fulfills its obligations in the event of a new agreement.
