Almost sixty years after the death of Foro Farohzad, this Iranian poet is still one of the most prominent and at the same time the most modern figures in Persian poetry. A poet who is not limited to his time and still has an audience among different generations of Persian speakers, both within Iran and around the world.
Recently, the complete collection of Forough Farrokhzad's poems was translated into French and published in the special poetry collection of the prestigious Gallimard publishing house in Paris.
The publication of the French translation of the complete collection of his poems in the poetry file of Glimmer Publications once again raised the question of what is the secret of the longevity of Porro's poetry and how it even crosses geographical and linguistic boundaries.
Lily Anwar, the translator of this book, who is a researcher and professor of Persian literature in Paris, explains in an interview with Radio Farda about the characteristics of Forou Ferozad's poems, the relationship between the poet's personal life and his poems, as well as the challenges of translating his poems.
