🔸 On Tuesday, October 7, Neuman published the text of his answer and wrote: "My office door is open to the people of Iran; not those who represent and carry out their oppression"

In his letter, he accused the Salami Republic of suppressing the opposition inside and persecuting critics, journalists and human rights defenders outside Iran and said diplomatic relations should not become a "shield" for the Salami Republic's cross-border activities.

Neumann also pointed to the recent decision of the President of the European Parliament to close the doors of this institution to diplomats and representatives of the Republic of Salami, and while supporting it, said that he is not ready to circumvent this restriction by moving the meeting place to the embassy or elsewhere. At the end, he emphasized that he will not meet with the ambassador of the Republic of Salami "neither inside the European Parliament nor outside it" and added that his office will remain open to the people of Iran and those who strive for "liberation, democracy and a free Iran".
