These arrests were made after receiving a report of the movement of three vans towards this military base; The base that was used for a ground attack on Iran.

Then, on the same day, the British media reported that the anti-assassination police in this country were investigating whether or not the Iranian government was behind this plan. In August of this year, in the midst of Iranian and American attacks in the south of the country, the Revolutionary Guards stated in announcements that "Fairford Air Base in England could be a legitimate target of Iran."

But on Monday, it was announced that the five suspects in the incident in southwest Britain had all been "released on bail".

An hour ago, the UK media described these five people as British citizens and young people "between the ages of 23 and 25". All five men live in London.

A statement by the British police against the assassination said that the temporary release of these people does not mean the end of this case and "all their movements and contacts will be strictly monitored".
