Iran rejected the connection with the five suspects who were arrested near the British military base

On Monday, the 6th of Mahar, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in London rejected what it called "unfounded and biased" speculations about Iran's connection with the five suspects arrested near the British Royal Air Force Base in Farford.

Five British nationals were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of committing explosives-related crimes and assassination near this base.

In a message published on the X social network, the Iranian embassy announced that it "strongly rejects and condemns any attempt to link Iran with these detainees" and added that such speculations will only lead to "fostering Iranophobic propaganda" in Britain.

British police have not yet linked Iran to these detainees and the police-led investigation into the assassination continues. However, the British media reported that the anti-assassination police in this country are investigating whether or not the Iranian government was behind this plan.

Farford Royal Air Base is a British military base where American bombers fly to carry out missions against Iran.
