This dinosaur is a character from a mini-game in the Google Chrome browser that appears when the internet is down.

The founders of this company were Larry Page and Sergey Brin, a graduate student at Stanford University, who later became known as the "Google Man".

Google was first registered as a private company in 1998 and its initial public offering took place in 2004.
