🔸 Three workers of an olive processing unit in Gilban district in the city of Tarem died as a result of an accident in the olive storage and processing tank.

Ayoub Begdali, Director General of Crisis Management of Zanjan Governorate, said on Saturday, D. Mahar, these three workers entered a container containing a solution of citric acid and detergents to obtain bitter olives.

According to him, preliminary investigations indicate that the closed space of the tank and the dangerous conditions inside caused the accident.

Bigdali added: "A decrease in the oxygen level, the accumulation of gases caused by the fermentation of organic substances, the presence of vapors and an acidic environment, the lack of proper ventilation and the lack of Yemeni personal equipment were effective in the occurrence of this accident."
