A number of kidney sellers who intend to sell to pay their debts do not see the market prices as fair and say that the price of the body parts has not increased according to the inflation rate.

Among the ads reviewed by Radio Freda, debt and financial problems are the most common reasons for selling body parts.

In May of this year, Omid Gabadi, the vice chairman of the Iranian Association for Organ Donation, announced that Iran has been the number one organ donor in Asia for many years, but this trend has declined sharply in the past two years, especially during the war.

Lack of medicines and equipment, lack of manpower, disruptions in the air transport of friends and communication networks are among the reasons for this decline.
