On Thursday, the second of Mehr, without announcing the date of this flight, Majid Akhavan said: "Due to the fact that Turkmenistan did not issue permission to Iranian airlines to fly in the sky, the Tehran-Dushanbe flight could not land at its destination and had to return to Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran."

Earlier, a video was published on social media showing a pilot's explanation of the return of the plane to Tehran. The voice of the pilot in this video says that due to the lack of permission to fly over the skies of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, it is not possible to fly to Tajikistan and the plane will return to Tehran.
