According to this government official, one billion dollars is the currency value of the damages caused to Hormozgan.

Governor Hormuzgan also said that since the beginning of the 40-day war, almost 1,400 missiles and drones have hit the three islands of Abu Musa, Tunb-e-Tunb and Tunb-e-Kurki.

Hormuzgan district has been one of the main centers of American attacks on Iran in recent months due to its proximity to the Strait of Hormuz.
