This association announced on Tuesday, the 31st in Sharibar, that since the first hours after learning of Majed Sa'idi's arrest, it has been monitoring his situation through professional and legal channels, including through the Press Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Guidance of the Republic of Salami.

According to this announcement, despite the surveillance, his family and the association were not given clear information about the detention facility, his location and the charges attributed to this well-known news photographer.

Referring to the role of news photographers in recording and narrating events, the Union of Press Photographers of Iran demanded to clarify the situation and pave the way for the release of Majed Sa'idi and announced that he would continue to manage his case through legal and professional channels. 🔸 Mehdi Saidi posted a message on his Instagram on Wednesday, the 18th in Sharibar, and wrote that the security forces went to his brother's house on Wednesday and detained him.
