Following the breach of this board, a photo of the site "Gurkan" was presented, launched by the Salami Republic to identify Iranians opposing the government abroad.

This site presented the purpose of the operation as "a national campaign to identify and punish traitors in the country".

It is still unclear whether this board was breached from within the United States or from outside.

The "New York Post" writes that this incident worried the Iranians about the government residing in this city.
