Poland has joined a coalition with Ukraine against ballistic missiles

Poland also joined a new coalition with Ukraine and its other allies to counter ballistic missiles.

This issue was announced by Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, on Friday, September 27.

Referring to this issue, the Prime Minister of Poland wrote on the X Network: "Poland is part of a big project as of today. We have agreed on the form and framework of this cooperation."

On Friday, Donald Tusk participated in the first meeting of the 8 Carpathian countries, held at the initiative of Volodymyr Zelensky in western Ukraine.

There are eight Carpathian countries, including Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Ukraine, each of which includes parts of the Carpathian Mountains.

This new group was established at the initiative of Ukraine and with the aim of developing regional security, economic, logistical and energy cooperation, and together with the European Union, they are going to form a new political bloc against security and economic threats, especially from Russia. About two months ago, Ukraine and nine other European countries announced the establishment of a new alliance, which announced the joint development of a new anti-missile system as a cheaper alternative to the American Patriot system among its goals.

Donald Tusk also announced on Friday that Poland had also prepared a "significant" aid package for Ukraine, without specifying details.

The Prime Minister of Poland said: "To say it clearly: no one can change my opinion about the need for Poland to support Ukraine in the war against Russian aggression."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Poland for allocating a new aid package after a bilateral meeting with Donald Tusk.

Mr. Zelensky wrote on the Telegram network: "Ukraine and Poland are friends, neighbors and strong partners with a common enemy."
