A few months after the fall of 1401 and at the same time as the spread of the "Women, Life, Liberation" movement, the changes that had taken place in Iranian society for years, slowly entered the cinema in a clearer way.

Women appeared in the streets without a mandatory hijab and in the cinema, several actors and filmmakers decided not to reproduce the image of Iranian women according to the official rules of the Republic of Salami and to present the reality of society on the screen.

The result of this issue was the expansion of a current that can be called "informal cinema", "independent" or in some cases "underground"; If before the "Woman, Life, Liberation" movement, independent female filmmakers active in the informal stream still stuck in their works to some of the red lines of the Salami Republic and did not cross them, but after that, some filmmakers had more and more courage to depict reality on the screen. The result was the production of works inside Iran that not only did not use the hijab as a forced element, but also raised some serious demands and concerns of society, especially women.
