Tehran police said they arrested a man who threw three Molotov cocktails at the "current crowd" in Punak Square in Tehran on Monday evening, September 23.
Funk Square is one of Tehran's squares where government night gatherings have been held since the beginning of the 40-day war.
According to the announcement published by the Tehran Police Command, "This man threw three Molotov cocktails at the crowd from the top of a building around 9:30 PM and then ran away."
In this message it is claimed that this person "intended to illegally leave the western borders of the country, but the police shot him in the right leg and arrested him and took him to the hospital."
Earlier, on the 10th of Shahriwar, a driver drove his car towards a government rally on Sderot Wakilabad in Mashhad city, killing four people and injuring 10 others.
