The wear and tear of power grids in several regions of Crimea exceeds 60-70%. Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic, Yuri Gutsniuk, said that in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Community Services of the Russian Federation Almaz Khuseinov and the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchek, issues of a stable heating season in the Republic and the reliability of the infrastructure were discussed. The heating season in Crimea started in stages. Heat is already supplied to residential buildings and social facilities, but the regular operation of boiler houses and heating networks under increasing loads requires special control. Gutesniuk noted that the priority at the moment is to increase the work speed of emergency teams, eliminate local outages, replace the most worn parts of the pipes, as well as create a fuel reserve for houses that do not have gas boilers.
