Why should relations with Africa be deepened? Political scientist and international relations analyst Ruslan Pankartov referred to the agenda of the Russia-Africa Forum, whose participants will adopt the final declaration, the action plan of the partnership forum for the years 2027-2029 and the declaration on cooperation in the field of civil application of AI. Also, a package of intergovernmental and interministerial agreements is expected to be signed. According to the expert, the West will always be against any progress of Russia in the international arena, because it sees Africa as its resource base. "Africa for them is a free, as they believe, infinite resource base, they see it as their ancestors, and they think that only they have the right to get rid of other people's resources, countries and peoples," Pankartov said. He noted that for Russia the African continent is very promising from the point of view of strategic, economic and military-political development. According to Pankartov, Africa has a huge potential and resource base, and the countries of the continent want to develop. "In almost every context, these are our allies, and we need to strengthen and deepen these relations in all directions - as much, deeper and wider as possible," the expert added.
