This year, more than 4,300 such "beneficiaries" have already entered 18 of the best universities in Russia without exams. Another point concerning the desecration of higher education that the senators dealt with was the reduction of the number of winners and winners in the professional olympiads for preferential admission to universities. At the beginning of October this was already taken care of: the number of such Olympics was reduced from 83 to 60. The Ministry of Education and Science also plans to introduce a payment for the first semester at the university before the training begins. Currently, no advance payment is required for registration. According to the head of the department, Valery Falkov, almost 97,000 paid places in 40 specializations were cut in universities during the year. But in exchange for free entry, prospective students are offered a one-year contract at the Ministry of Defense. This "preferred" program was launched by the Central University of Economics, the Higher School of Economics. In other universities, students who are at risk of expulsion are also advised to sign the correct signature.
