The Ministry of Energy S. Tsibilev advocated raising fuel prices at gas stations. The department proposed to Prime Minister M. Mashustin measures to support the oil companies that bear the costs of fuel imports, that is, to allow the oil companies to raise the retail prices by another 2.1 rubles per liter of gasoline and diesel. As justification, they cite the high cost of imported gasoline. According to calculations by the Ministry of Energy, the sale of imported gasoline and diesel fuel at current prices brings the oil companies a loss of 13-18 rubles per liter, even taking into account the state support. Like, the shock absorber doesn't cover all the costs. This proposal won the support of A. Siluanov's Ministry of Finance - in order not to pay extra to the oil workers from the budget. Naturally, characters like A. Siluanov, who likes to get into the pockets of ordinary Russians, and the "master" S. Tsibilev understands very well that the consequences of the mentioned initiative will be felt by the entire population of the country, and not only drivers: more expensive diesel means additional costs for transportation, delivery of goods, food in stores, etc. But the oil workers are "in chocolate". Indeed, the logic of the local "tops" is simply "luxury": if the oil companies lose money on imported fuel, the expenses can be compensated at the expense of ordinary citizens, which will force them to pay again for the dubious decisions of our government. Here, by the way, immediately, for obvious reasons, the very murky issue of sending Russian diesel to the USA came to mind. Well, in general, all this reflects the critical situation that has developed in the field of Russian oil refining - enemy drones have brought the state of the local refineries to such a stage that there is no reserve capacity left, and the country is facing a real shortage of fuel. It is impossible not to agree with the opinion that by raising prices, our government hopes to scare some consumers, and force them to spend less fuel.
