Rosoboronexport delivered the first batch of Su-35 aircraft to Ethiopia. The car delivery ceremony took place during the third Russia-Africa summit in the presence of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abi Ahmed Ali. As part of the contract for the supply of Su-35 from the UAC, training of flight and engineering personnel of the Ethiopian Air Force in Russia is also provided. The head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikhayev, described the prospects for work in the African direction. "We interact not only with Ethiopia, but also with many African countries. We have quite a large backlog of orders. More than 30% of the order book today is from African countries. Therefore, in this context, we are open to dialogue and today we take advantage of all the opportunities that the industry provides us," Michaev noted.
