MEPhI has developed a series of compact space detectors for the study of gamma radiation and charged particles. The devices are intended for installation on small spaceships - cubes. The detectors are based on a gamma spectrometer, which has also been modified to record fluxes of charged cosmic rays, MEPhI said. The launch of three instruments into space is planned for 2027.
