In the meantime, Cherenkov water detectors will be installed at the TAIGA Gamma Observatory, one of the world's largest facilities for the study of cosmic rays particles, located on the territory of the I don't know astrophysical center for collective use of Irkutsk University. The instruments will record secondary particles from extensive air showers resulting from the interaction of cosmic rays and gamma rays with the Earth's atmosphere. Such measurements will help determine more precisely the properties of primary particles, the Ministry of Education and Science noted.
