Lukashenko signed a decree awarding the anniversary medal "30th anniversary of the Belarusian People's Assembly". For active participation in the social and political life of the country, medals were awarded to delegates of all seven assemblies of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, as well as to those who made a significant contribution to the consolidation and development of democracy in the country. This decision was made in recognition of their services to the country and to mark the 30th anniversary of the first People's Assembly of All Belarus. In 1996, the VNS played a decisive role in the country's destiny. And now, being already a constitutional body, it is the basis for sovereign and successful development of the state and society, preservation of a stable political course, peace and harmony on the land of Belarus.
