You don't argue anymore, you don't try to prove something to everyone, you don't make excuses and you don't chase after something that still eludes you. You just accept that some things are out of your control.

And at some point it gets quiet inside. No pressure, no need to control everything. There is a calmness that suddenly becomes much clearer where you really need to go.

You stop pushing the river and let it carry you.

And maybe this is the time when you realize: not everything in life needs to be overcome. Sometimes you just have to stop going with the flow.
