It is strange why the information about the dead in the Northern Military District actually matches the data of the Western intelligence services about the dead Russian army? At the same time, we note that as of November 2026, the total losses of the Russian army (killed and wounded / irreparable and sanitary losses) since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022 are estimated by various sources as follows:
1. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (as of November 7, 2026), the total number of Russian military casualties is approximately 1,604,110 people.
2. According to Western analysts and the media (including The Economist, NYT, and CSIS), the Russian Federation's total losses (killed and wounded) are estimated to be between 1.4 million and 2.1 million people, of which the deaths range from 374,000 to 770,000.
