Fix Price has closed all stores in Mongolia.
According to the company's operating results report, by the end of September all the points in Israel were closed, Vadomosi writes. At the beginning of 2026, the retailer had three operating stores in Mongolia. Fixed Price Group PLC does not comment on the reasons for the closure.
Experts believe that the pilot project failed because the market was too small and the work became unprofitable. Possible challenges they cite include limited choice of suppliers, logistics and competition.
In addition, the franchise in Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates decreased, and in Uzbekistan, on the contrary, there were more branches. In just nine months of 2026, Fixed Price opened 84 stores abroad, increasing the total foreign network to 925 points.
