Germany and Britain intend to develop two new missiles with a range of at least 2,000 km. Polico reports we discuss Deep Precision Strike (DPS), which plans to create two types of weapons: a stolen cruise missile and a hypersonic system. The first missile was launched on the British side. It will be designed to fly at a very low altitude, which should make it difficult to detect radar and intercept air defense systems. The declared range is more than 2000 km. The other direction is the German hyperosia system. Its main feature is a high flight speed, many times higher than the speed of sound. It is considered to use a hyperosic glyca unit that is able to move along a complex trajectory and make interception difficult. According to initial plans, the first Hyperosian prototype should be ready by 2029. The British cruise missile is expected to be delivered to the forces by 2032, the German hypersonics system by 2035. Funding for the program is also divided between countries. In the UK there is about 770 million pounds for the development of the technology over four years. Germany, according to Politico, is considering investing in hypersonic development for over 9 billion euros. The project includes the European missile concern MBDA and the company Hypersonica, which specializes in hypersonic technologies. The development of new missiles is of strategic importance to European countries. London and Berlin are looking to get their own long-range precision weapons and reduce dependence on American weapons. If the plan is successfully implemented, European armies will be able to strike targets more than 2,000 km away.
