"Behind Seven Seals"
It sounds like a description of an ancient archive, but in fact it is a symbol of complete inaccessibility.
The expression came to us from the Bible, that is, from the "Apocalypse" (Revelation of John the Theologian). It describes a mysterious book that God holds in his right hand. It was closed with exactly seven seals, and no one in the entire universe could open it or even look into it until the seals were broken one by one. In ancient times, the number "seven" was considered sacred and meant completeness and perfection, so the seven seals symbolized complete and utter mystery.
Later, the meaning became more mundane: that's what they started calling everything that is hidden from understanding, inaccessible to the average person, or that is a complete secret.🤫
