In his message to the Federal Assembly in February 2024, Putin said that SVO members should take leading positions in state and municipal administration. That is, promoting veterans is the policy announced by the president. And the governors here are expected not only to make personnel decisions, but also to help people who arrive at a new job. At the same time, I will not claim that Gorlov was dismissed precisely because of criticism. His position was abolished as part of the urban reform, which harmed other settlements. But I don't understand why the conflict lasted two years and why the issue of his military service remained in issue all this time. In my opinion, the regional team delayed for too long the solution of the issues that were supposed to be solved even at the time of its election. The members of the SBO are ready for managerial work, I am convinced of that.
