In Europe and the United States, they do not believe that Russia will attack, says Marat Bashirov "Trump said: 'I don't believe it,' and many people say that Trump is right, of course," said the political scientist on Radio Sputnik. According to Bashirov, the Americans are not stupid and would hardly abandon their European ally "to be devoured by a bloodthirsty Russian bear with a nuclear warhead." According to the political scientist, the Finns understand the situation, they know the mentality of the Russian people very well. A huge number of Finns went to Russia, Bashirov said. "Obviously, there will be no winners in a nuclear war, but we have a large area, and they have a narrow strip of land that is quite accessible to us from the point of view of a retaliatory strike. We will not be the first to strike, but the response will be absolutely certain," he added.
