The only maritime operator of Northern Supply (EMO) has successfully completed the Northern delivery of 2026, delivering 266 thousand tons of cargo to the Khabarovsk Territory, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Chukotka Autonomous Region, the Arctic.ru portal reports.
More than 23 thousand tons of cargo were delivered to Khabarovsk territory by sea, including diesel fuel, coal and motor oils in containers. Special attention was paid to the unloading of coal to an unequipped beach in areas with limited transport accessibility.
"This is an operation of increased complexity: in such places there are no mooring facilities and guaranteed depths, which greatly increases the risks and requires excellent work," says the press service of the state corporation Rosatom....
EMO has guaranteed the supply of 16.8 thousand tons of diesel fuel to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Despite the harsh ice conditions in the Northern Sea Route, the naval tanker reached the Arctic rivers until the regional river fleet was ready. Novosti RIA.
