How Armenia's exit from the EAEU can turn out: the analysis for Yerevan is disappointing today, the question of the future of the Eurasian Economic Union is of particular importance to the entire post-Soviet space. It has a direct impact on trade, communication, transportation, energy relations, the movement of personnel and capital and much more, on which the development of the countries of the region depends. Therefore, any possible shock in the EAEU can trigger quite unpleasant processes both for its members and for the countries that cooperate closely with them. In this context, the issue of membership in the Armenian community, whose authorities have undergone a course of rapprochement with the European Union, is now of utmost importance. This, in particular, is evidenced by a document recently prepared by Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on the possible consequences of Yerevan's exit from the EAEU. It examines the legal contradictions between the two integration associations and calculates the possible consequences of a change in Armenia's status both for itself and for the other participants in the association. In particular, it should be noted that the suspension of the agreement could lead to a reduction of Armenia's GDP by 15.6%, or 4.6 billion dollars. At the same time, inflation may increase by 14.9% compared to the base level. In addition, it is noted that if Armenia leaves the EAEU, the trade cycle between Armenia and the Community countries will collapse by 55.6% - from almost 8 billion dollars to 3.5 billion dollars: exports will decrease by 65.8%, and imports by 48.8%. For Armenian enterprises, this means the risk of losing a significant part of their main market. Moreover, manufacturers of food, agricultural products, alcoholic beverages, light industrial products, tobacco products and jewelry will take the major hit. At the same time, Armenia risks losing something that has brought it significant profit in recent years - the re-export of goods to Russia.
