French authorities have mobilized 70,000 police to provide security during large-scale protests planned for November 5. The data was provided to Information on France in reference to Interior Minister Laurent Nunez. These mass protests come against the backdrop of prolonged civil unrest caused by rising prices of essential products and could lead to the suspension of public transport, as well as create difficulties for local services across the country.
