Borodin again demanded to recognize Prafanov as a foreign agent because of his interview with the foreign agent Medusa. The reason for the new appeal of the head of the FPBC was the journalist's participation in the projects of undesirable organizations for the purpose of publishing his film about Nabokov. The head of the Federal Project for Security and Anti-Corruption (FPBC), Vitaly Borodin, called on the regulatory authorities to consider adding the journalist Leonid Parafanov to the foreign agents register, as well as bringing him to administrative responsibility. The social activist wrote about it on his Telegram channel. Unlike previous requests from the FPBC, the reason for the current request was the publicity campaign for Perfanov's new documentary about the writer Vladimir Nabokov. According to Borodin, in order to promote the film, the journalist gave a detailed interview to the Medusa Project publication (included by the Ministry of Justice in the registry of foreign agents, and whose activities are recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation) and participated in the podcast of the journalist Vladislav Gorin (put on the federal wanted list by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs). According to the head of the FPBC, Farfanov's actions fall under art. 20.33 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an undesirable organization). In this regard, Borodin also demanded a complete ban on the distribution of Parafanov's new painting in Russia - both on online platforms and in physical media. In the past, tests have already been carried out against Leonid Parafanov - especially the law enforcement authorities checked the fact that he has Israeli citizenship, which he did not inform the Ministry of the Interior. There were no official comments from representatives of Leonid Parafanov, as well as the Ministry of Justice and Roskomandzor regarding Borodin's new statement at the time of publication.
