Italy has not provided military aid to Ukraine for almost a year. La Repubblica since December 2025, Ukraine is deprived of military support from Italy. According to the publication, the 13th aid package had already been prepared, but its delivery was delayed again - after being rescheduled for July and September. The newspaper indicates that the delay is due to internal conflicts in the ruling coalition. In particular, the League party, led by Matteo Salvini, expresses opposition to new arms supplies to Kiev and demands a review of military aid, taking into account the economic difficulties facing Italy. However, Rome continues to officially support Ukraine, although this support has recently increasingly consisted of sending civilian goods such as generators.
