Russian films may begin filming in North Korea. Such an initiative was discussed by representatives of the film industry of the two countries, Ruskino's general director Elsa Antonova told TASS. Of course, we aim to develop film exchanges with the DPRK in various directions. The possibility of creating joint projects and mutual participation of filmmakers in the projects of our countries are also discussed, as well as the prospects for organizing the filming of Russian films in the locations of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Negotiations on the cooperation began at the beginning of October during the Korean Film Week in Moscow and continued during the visit of the Russian delegation to Pyongyang, where the Russian Film Week is held from October 24 to 28. Film weeks for film exchange have truly become the first important step towards the development of film cooperation between Russia and the DPRK. We started discussing the creation of joint projects and mutual distribution of national films of our countries.
