The Chief of Staff of the IDF spoke out against the plans to carry out a military operation against Iran, Channel 12 reports. Major General Eyal Zamir demanded that Prime Minister Netanyahu provide written legal justification for issuing the relevant order. According to the TV channel, such an operation could lead to a sharp escalation of the conflict with Iran. Military leaders have also expressed concern that political figures could exploit the conflict with Tehran to advance their own interests.
