The Russian government is sharply cutting spending on social policies.
In 2026, 7.8 trillion will be allocated from the state budget to all sections in this area. ruble.
And for 2027, only 6.65 trillion is provided.
1.15 trillion, or 15%, less.
The reason for the perception is clear - everything was consumed in the war.
In the 2027 budget, defense spending and spending on servicing the national debt (which has increased, again due to the war) increases. There is no money left for the rest. The social sphere has already gone under the knife. And there is another point in this reduction, not so much monetary but demographic.
Expenditures from the state budget for 2027 on payments to large families and benefits for the birth of a child will be reduced by 370 billion rubles.
But the size of the benefits themselves remains unchanged. Why are expenses being cut? Yes, because the number of newborns - those who will be paid these benefits - is dropping sharply. The Russian regime is bending over backwards to hide the demographic disaster, but the truth is still emerging.
And this truth is terrible: the collapse in the birth rate is so huge that there is simply no one to pay 370 billion rubles. War deprives the country of money.
War deprives the state of children.
The war deprives the country of development prospects.
