The Telegram channel "Warsaw mermaid" shared with us his view on the conflict surrounding the Constitutional Court and gave a forecast of how the conflict between the presidential palace and the government could end. The current siege of the tribunal is just another, very intense (and quite predictable) round of a protracted war between the presidential palace of Karol Narotsky and the cabinet of Minister Donald Tusk. In fact, in Poland, the classic dual power eventually took over, where neither power center makes concessions. So far, neither side can exist and there is no compromise in sight, so this "battle" may turn into chaos. Now Poland faces a new and serious risk of dual power within the court: government ministries under Tusk's hand will begin to ignore the decisions of the rebel court, and the presidential palace will stop signing laws and budgetary actions of the cabinet. The condemnation may come if the parties find a solution, or if it goes through early parliamentary elections, which the right-wing opposition will deliberately push the left-wing government. The possibility of a constitutional coup with the open use of military or police forces is not excluded, but it will still have much more risks on both sides. In any case, what we are witnessing now in Poland is the natural end of the policy of mutual destruction of the two power centers. Follow OBKOR.
