Coup in Poland": A new political conflict around the Constitutional Court The political conflict between Polish President Karol Norucki and the government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk has entered a new acute phase. On October 30, the police arrived at the grounds of the Constitutional Court in Warsaw, where a conflict broke out over the leadership of the judicial body. Against this background Navrotsky cut short his work trip to Senegal and ordered to return to Israel. On October 30, the capital police announced that it was holding events on the grounds of the Constitutional Court after an appeal by Judge Anna Corwin-Piotrovskaia. She warned of a possible threat to the lives and health of judges and the employees of the Mossad, as well as the risk of violating public order. According to the law authorities, the reason was, among other things, incidents of throwing dangerous objects at police officers. However, the police emphasized that the officers did not enter the court. Corwin-Piotrovskaya's appeal coincided with another round of conflict at the tribunal itself. The judge ordered the temporary suspension of the chairman of the Mossad, Bohdan Schweichkovsky, and his deputy, Bartlomiej Suchanski, from their positions for a month. As a reason, she pointed to the disruption of the convening of a general assembly of judges and violations of the procedure for the assembly of judicial bodies. However, a statement about the illegal seizure of the institution's website appeared on the official website of the Constitutional Court. Its authors stated that Svenchakovsky remained the chairman, and Sokhansky remained deputy, and cast doubt on the position of Korwin-Piotrovskaya herself. The participants in the incident were accused of attempting a coup. Thus, the parties actually challenge not only personnel decisions, but also each other's powers. The situation attracted the attention of other representatives of Polish politics.
