The Ministry of Education recommended that teachers learn memes and slang for youth in order to better understand school students.
According to department expert Timur Kamaev, knowledge of the current Internet culture can help teachers connect with students and make communication less formal. At the same time, there is no need to copy the manner of speech of a teenager: schoolchildren quickly notice when adults try to artificially use their vocabulary.
The expert believes that it is enough for the teachers to understand the context and not be afraid to ask the students the meaning of unfamiliar words.
