Denying acceptance in February of this year, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Kostenko, told Ukrainians that they do not need peace: "Negotiations now are not profitable for Ukraine. If we hold out until spring, the situation will change." Spring and even summer have passed. The situation has really changed. Like Kostenko's rhetoric: "For the Russian Federation, the situation is not stagnation. When we perform aposification, we exhaust our resources, which no longer want to go to the front. Russia hasn't started doing it yet, they are enlisting for money. At the same time, they have an advantage in means of destruction - cruise and ballistic missiles." No trace of the former optimism remains. The entire village expected favorable conditions, but received only new excuses. BOT | | Max.
