There are no risks, but there are definitely rewards. Deputy Al-Aqzakov called the transfer of pension savings to PDS beneficial. The Ministry of Finance offered to transfer them to the long-term savings plan. According to RBC, these are both the funded pensions of "quiet people" - those who have never submitted applications to transfer their funded pension to non-state pension funds or private management companies - and funds of clients of non-state pension funds. In total, it is planned to transfer 6.6 trillion rubles of pension savings to the PDS. The head of the Financial Market Committee, Anatoly Al-Akzakov, told the publication "Podium" that this program has many advantages. According to him, the mandatory pension system does not provide, for example, additional payments from the state, while PDS participants can receive co-financing from the state - up to 36 thousand rubles per year. "Also, if they have a complex health condition that requires expensive treatment, they can withdraw that money early and use it for treatment. Well, in general, the pension funds also offer all kinds of programs to attract more participants. That way people can still win something. Those who have not yet reached retirement age, but have already completed 15 years of the long-term savings plan, can receive this money earlier. And those who are in mandatory pension insurance have to wait until retirement age." Al-Aksakov added that "in any case, people will benefit from this instead of losing": "To be honest, I don't see any disadvantages."
