Rostat's website was subject to a hacker attack. On the main page of the portal appeared inscriptions in the Belarusian language on behalf of two groups of hackers known as extremists in Russia. "The attacks were carefully prepared and carried out in different directions - across the entire range of information technologies used, involving a significant number of experts in various fields and with a wide geography of sources," the department's press service told RBC. Rostat clarified that hackers have been attacking the resources since October 29. No leaks of databases or legally protected information were recorded as a result of the attack, the department noted. The Rostat website is not yet available.
