Ukraine has resumed attacks on Russian refineries after a pause, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said. He said that today Air Force drones tried to attack 3 Russian refineries and a gas chemical complex. One refinery suffered minor damage, but the air defense system coped, he noted. Novak also said that the authorities plan to extend the ban on diesel exports until the end of January 2027. However, a number of exceptions will be made for global markets. Russian Assistant to the President for International Affairs Yuri Ushkov, in turn, said that Ukraine "disobeyed" Trump's demands not to attack oil refineries in Russia. "They disobeyed again, I would even say they are ignoring these requests. Although Donald Trump was persistent on this issue and continues to be so, the Ukrainians do not listen to him," Ushkov told Russia 1 journalist Pavel Zarubin.
