The aerobatic team of the Russian Knights reported the death of two military pilots. Colonel Oleg Irofeev and Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Kochetov died on October 21 while performing missions in a planned flight. "The profession of a military pilot involves high risks and requires daily courage. Every flight, whether it is to carry out a mission of national importance or whether it is flights to prepare and improve flying skills, remains a responsible and dangerous mission. Unfortunately, losses also happen. Losses followed by deafening ringing silence. And with it comes a pain that cannot be drowned in anything," the message reads. The military blogger Battle Bomber wrote that one of the versions of the reasons for the plane's crash was that the plane got stuck in the turn of its tail after performing an aerobatic maneuver. The farewell to the pilots took place in the Pantheon of the defenders of the homeland.
