Zenit had to apologize to Dynamo Makhachkala for an epigram about cropped beards. The Saint Petersburg club published a song before the game with the words: Let Makhachkala stand behind you like a fortress.

And beards fall on shirts,.

Here, for a long time, everyone's beard was cut bare,.

And the wind tore off the hats like a hand. After that, the club from Dagestan demanded an apology, calling these lines unacceptable. "Every word has its price, especially when it is spoken by one of the biggest clubs in the country in front of an audience of millions. We expect a public apology from the management of Zenit to the fans of Dinamo Makhachkala and all Dagestanis," said Dinamo. "Zenit" immediately deleted the epigram and published a new one, with an apology: "We didn't want to offend quickly, nor hurt your home and faith, forgive me if that happened." Dynamo Club accepted the apology. The match between the teams will take place tonight at the Gazprom Stadium in St. Petersburg.
